What's the role?

We are looking for a customer-focused Business Developer (Power) to develop their career in a rewarding, high-performing, and international team. The Business Developer (BD) role is a technical sales role where you will be focusing on a Power portfolio such as Power Generation plants (Nuclear, Coal, Gas) and Electricity Transmission & Distribution facilities (substations, overhead/underground lines). The Power team promotes Hilti solutions among local and international Owners, EPCs and Contractors creating sustainable value creation for both our customers and Hilti. You will create strategies and lead its execution to increase sales from the accounts based on commercial relationship and technical specifications through the cooperation with global as well as regional BD community and the support from technical back office.

What does the role involve?

Accountable for the Development Global/ Key Accounts (Owners, E&D, and top EPC firms) operating in the Power Business to achieve long-term relationship
Accountable for Sales development (direct or indirect) through specifying Hilti systems and application solutions in all relevant projects of the assigned accounts. Leading to increase Hilti share of wallet in the account’s projects and ultimately integrate Hilti’s technologies/ application in the account standards
Ensure sales revenue by coordinating with local Energy & Industry Sales team on the projects where Hilti systems have been specified.
Accountable for the development & implementation of the strategy of the accounts assigned (Local & International)
Be as primary Hilti contact and negotiator for the accounts and initiate the relation with the high management level of the accounts
Result oriented steering of the assigned accounts to produce over proportional growth in selected market segments and relevant projects
Accountable for relationship management to external & internal partners related to the accounts strategy to support the E&I Business
Accountable to build up and extend customer satisfaction

What you need is:

  • Minimum holding Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil and or Mechanical Engineering with strong Commercial or Business capabilities
  • Having minimum 2-3 years experience in business development or sales for specified engineering products or sales solutions
  • Experience with or within Energy projects in Indonesia is preferred
  • Strategic mind-set with ability to apply innovative thinking to resolve issues
  • Experienced and confident in facilitating face-to-face sessions to audience at all job levels
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong communication skills, at multi-level and high proficiency in English
  • Willing to have high business travel frequencies
